Chipola College Building Construction Technology (CCBCT)

Rural Studio has been working with Chipola College since before they launched their Building Construction Technology workforce development program in fall 2020. CCBCT earn “clock hour” credits toward nationally recognized NCCER construction credentials. AURS continues to facilitate the relationship between CCBCT and Chipola Area Habitat for Humanity (CAHFH), whereby CCBCT students earn clock hours by working on CAHFH projects. Darwin Gilmore, Dean of Workforce and Economic Development at Chipola College, will participate in a presentation with CAHFH and AURS at the upcoming Habitat for Humanity International Affiliate Conference.
